Bloggy! No English class today! YAY! I loved having the rest of my afternoon off. Once I got out of my one class at 12:18 I was done! So my roommate and I went to some random girl’s house on 18th to pick up my roommate’s buckID. This weekend she had lost it and this girl messaged Allie on Facebook and told her she found it. Boy was Allie excited. After that, we went and got lunch at the union. It was delicious like always. I worked on some homework and tried to nap for about 15 minutes. I worked out again today! That is such an accomplishment for me. Two days in a row is a pretty big deal. Now I’m working on my blog so I can spend the rest of the night studying for my psych exam tomorrow. It will be the death of me. For some reason I just don’t understand anything in psych. Like I’m good with memorization but I just can’t get the concepts. And unfortunately, the whole test is about the concepts. This past week I’ve just been going through all the key words and notes from the chapter and typing them out. So tonight I will finish with the notes, then print my notes out and try and memorize them. I’m not sure if that’s the best idea but that’s how it will be done. I never used to study in high school for anything, so this whole studying situation is still new to me. Wish me luck Bloggy!
That sounds rough, good luck on the psych exam!
ReplyDeleteI too was happy to have the day, because I have been studying for Psych as well! I am with you. I took psych in high school and absolutely loved it, I had no difficulty understanding the concepts and applying them. I don't know if it is the delivery of the material or what . . . Good Luck tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteYeah the whole studying thing is pretty new for me too. I almost never had to study at all in high school and now there is so much studying to be done but good luck on the exam!
ReplyDeleteI think you'll do fine with your psych exam. I basically memorized the terms when I took it and did well on my exams. Obviously you have to know what the definitions mean and how to apply it, but it wasn't hard for me for some odd reason. Now sociology kicked my butt. That was one subject I just could not get a grip on the concepts.
ReplyDeleteGood luck! And good job for working out! I always start working out and then get lazy after a couple of days.
Yea, I am pretty sure I failed the psych mid term, just like I failed the first one. I study so much, but I just don't pick up on the concepts that easy.
