Blog 60 Off-campus housing

What is going on Bloggy?  I almost forgot to write to you today.  It pretty much slipped my mind.  Nothing really happened today.. at all.  I spent all day either sleeping, eating, napping, or looking up places to live next year.  That has been an issue of mine over the past week or two.  I know I am living with three other girls on my floor, but I do not know where yet.  I’m searching for places online and I plan on calling some realty places tomorrow.  This is a pretty stressful situation though.  It seems like I need to have this figured out in like a week.  So if anyone knows of a four-bedroom house or apartment, they should let me know.  I really want to find a place that has utilities included, such as water and gas.  I feel like having that included will just make paying rent much easier.  I think we are leaning towards getting an apartment, since four people isn’t really enough for a house.  Either one works though.  Hopefully after I make some calls tomorrow I will have at least an appointment set up to see some different places.  I decided to be the one out of us 4 girls to take charge with this situation, because all of the other girls didn’t seem to be in any hurry.  I just want to get a nice place though before they all fill up.  Well, if anyone knows of anything feel free to let me know! It would be greatly appreciated! Goodnight Bloggy.

  1. I can't really help you out with that, but you can always go on off-campus housing to search some places if you haven't already---which I'm sure you have.

BUT in case you haven't! :p

That is where I found my apartment. Mine is owned by University Manors. I got a good deal on mine! Water/electric/internet is ALREADY included in my rent meaning I pay them same amount every month.

  2. Yeah I've been looking up stuff for off-campus housing next year ant it really IS stressful. I've been looking on sites like the one Sarah posted and a lot of them won't let you look until Jan...which sucks. Gah. House hunting sucks.

  3. Hmmm I'm no good with house hunting nearby, I commute from Lewis Center. Maybe if you cant find anything in the area try looking a little further away?

  4. Getting a house or apartment is a great idea! It's much cheaper and you get to choose a place you like as long as you start early! So it is a good thing you are starting now!
